A little bit about us
A few words about Zapped Apps
We build simple but cool apps for iOS, Android, and web.
If you have an idea for an app, shoot it past us and we’ll see what it takes to get it going.
I’m not a miracle worker or some genius app dude, I’m just a guy who loves working on stuff like this.
I will give your app the same loving attention that I give the apps I build for myself.
I can build almost anything, why not get in touch and see if I can help you!
This app is for the adrenaline junkie who thinks regular sleep is a drag. Why waste time in boring dream-free slumber when you really can make your worst nightmares come true!
This app is for bird lovers who want to teach their bird how to talk. It comes pre-loaded with recorded words and sounds to help almost any bird that is capable of speech become a total jabbermouth. This is a very fun and very cool web app.
This app will not only help you choose healthier foods, it will give you recipes and shopping lists too! This one was a labor of love for me and I hope it helps a lot of people.
The apps above are examples of progress web apps (PWA). In essence, they are highly interactive web pages that will work in any browser without the need for the end user to install anything. With web apps, all the users have to do is visit them with their phones and BAM! they are in. The only problem with them is that they can’t be submitted to the app stores, they are stand alone. The upside is that they work on every phone and every other device (computer, iPad, etc.) without the need to install anything. This is good if you want your users to have a seamless experience.
coming soon
iOS and Android Native Apps
Our first batch of iOS apps (see below) will be ready by the end of November, 2025. We have three in production right now and believe me, they are going to be awesome. If you want your app to be in the Apple App Store and Google Play, then get in touch right now and I’ll do my best to help you out.
Really Good News is a news app that lets you block certain names and words from your news feed. For example, you can block all Kardashian news or all Trump news if you want. Conversely, you can make the app search for Kardashian or Trump news, if that is your bag. Coming soon, almost done!
This is Tracy’s app for her coaching business. It will send you some good news every day, easy peasy. It also allows you to have a microblog within the app to track how you are doing. We’re working on having Tracy read the affirmations so everyone can hear her awesome Aussie accent. Coming soon, almost done!
This is the iPhone version of Seahorse Sanctuary. It’s still under production but again, it should be ready by the end of November, 2025. This differs from the web version in that the fish are much touchier and the parameters are stricter. All you have to do to have happy seahorses is structure your entire life around a SIM game and all will be well! Coming soon, almost done!
Seahorse Sanctuary
I love seahorses but my lifestyle doesn’t allow for pets I have to feed three to five times a day or that I can’t leave alone for a week if I go on a road trip. So, the next best thing was to create a simulated seahorse aquarium!
It’s fairly simple, you just fiddle around with the controls and keep everything within certain specs and your seahorses will live. Neglect them and they die. You big meanie!
I’m in the process of creating an iPhone version though truly I don’t know why because the desktop version works great on a phone. On the upside, being in the App Store is likely to bring us a bit of traffic which we always appreciate.
The web version is done and ready to go, the iPhone version is coming by the end of November 2025.
Easily build your very own app!
If you are the kind of person who likes to create stuff on the internet, then one of our app templates is just what you need. All you’ll have to do is copy and paste a bit, maybe jiggle things a bit more, and before you know it, you’ll have an app and you’ll know how to customise it. We have three different templates in the works now and they’ll be done and for sale hopefully by December 1. If you have a good idea for an app, now is your chance to build it!
PS. They come with videos so you can watch step-by-step!
